![]() I want to COPY all the audio files in my playlist from my library to iTunes, and have my iPhone show these as a playlist. I only have a select number of albums on my iPhone, not the entire music collection (some 60 gig). I have a playlist created in MB consisting of about 70 songs or so. iTunes sees some but not all of the contents of the library (which I don't understand). Machine 'B' has iTunes, strictly for managing my iPhones and iPad devices. MB is installed on Machine 'A', which is used for all my listening. I have my music library (some 60 gig or so) on a network shared folder seen by two different computers both running Win7/64. This would help if the path to your media differs but the overall file structure is intact.I'm fairly new to MB, liking what I've seen thus far! m3u in a text editor like WordPad and "Find and Replace" the path if need be, I've done this many times. **One thing of note, if you locate your ITunes library on the network with your media the path won't change** #3 - export playlist using ITunes export ( ) #2 - Import then into Itunes and create whatever playlist you like #1 - Creating an mp3 version of your collection The playlist will contain the explicit path to the files, which would have to match when importing to SAM otherwise it won't find the files. The problem you may run into is the pathing. m3u playlist, which you can then import into SAM. I've actually created a separate copy of my collection in 128k MP3 format for SAM to play.Īs far as playlists are concerned, there are a few 3rd party converters that enable you to convert an ITunes playlist to a generic. This doesn't change the fact that SAM doesn't play them however. I've got both loss less copies, as well as purchased non-drm m4a's in my collection. However these are the standard formats for AAC for apple. Just to clarify.m4a doesn't equal DRM.m4a is merely the container. Is there a chance that this problem could be solved ? I like SAM and think it fits my needs best and would like to work with it. The alternative would be that I would have to buy a Numark-mixer, where I just have to drop in an iPod to have my playlist ready and can send from there, but this would only be the second best solution. I´m testing SAM since yesterday and I belive, it is a the best program and I manage to get along myself without the help of computer friends, I bought a headset (Logitech G35) and it works well, but the problem with iTunes is a big disadvantage. What can I do now? Do I have to get the big carton with all the CDs out of the storage and digitalize them again ? In what program ? I have the funny feeling that at the beginning of my test, only a few songs had the 0:00, now more have it. Some other songs, that I downloaded (bought) at iTunes: they are playing. I have some songs in the playlist, that are imported to iTunes from a CD that I have: They don´t play. ![]()
